Brady Learning Center

A place in our community, for our community

Our village has long cherished the doors of our public library, which have stood as a gateway to knowledge, community, and growth. However, keeping these doors open has been an uphill battle—one that has strained our resources and tested our resilience.

Today, a beacon of hope shines brightly in the form of the Brady Learning Center—a place in our community, for our community. The Learning Center exists to ensure that access to education, resources, and community space remains available to all, year-round.

Background

The inception of this ambitious project is rooted in the heartfelt vision of Delores Gengenbach. When Delores passed away, she left behind not just fond memories, but a powerful vision for our village. She dreamed of a library or learning center that could serve as a lasting resource for education and community engagement, accessible to everyone year-round.

Her generous memorial fund donation of $125,000 laid the foundation for the Brady Learning Center, ensuring that her legacy continues to inspire and uplift future generations.

To bring this vision to life, the Brady School Foundation has joined forces with the Village Board and the School Board. Their collaboration is a testament to the collective commitment to honor Delores’s dream and sustain value within our community.
