The Brady Eagles volleyball team has been busy to start the 2026 season, taking the court four times and picking up their first win of the year!

The Eagles opened their season on the road against Anselmo-Merna on Aug. 27. Brady battled through a back-and-forth five-set match, winning the second and fourth sets before the Coyotes took the deciding fifth set.

On Sept. 1, the Eagles traveled to South Platte for a triangular with South Platte and Perkins County. Brady earned its first win of the season with a two-set victory over South Platte, 25-20 and 25-19! The Eagles also battled Perkins County to three sets, taking the second set 25-20.

Homecoming week brought the Eagles back to their home court on Sept. 4 as they faced Wauneta-Palisade. Although the Broncos came away with the win, the Eagles had a great home crowd behind them as they wrapped up a busy week of competition.

With several close matches already under their belts, the Eagles are gaining valuable varsity experience and continuing to grow each time they step on the court. Keep working, Eagles!
