The Brady Eagles football team is off to a strong start to the 2026 season, winning its first three games and giving Eagle fans plenty to cheer about.

Brady opened the season at home Aug. 21 against Sutherland and came away with a 57-0 victory. The Eagles found success on the ground, finishing the night with 307 rushing yards. Cinch Sanger led the rushing attack with 143 yards and four touchdowns, while Carter Franzen led the team in receiving.

The Eagles carried that momentum into their first road game of the season Aug. 28, defeating Axtell 62-0. Brady once again had a big night offensively, rushing for 273 yards and adding another 118 yards through the air. Sanger accounted for five touchdowns in the win, while Payton Miller added two receiving touchdowns and a touchdown on the ground.

Homecoming week brought the Eagles back to Brady on Sept. 4 for a matchup with Wauneta-Palisade. With a great Homecoming crowd behind them, the Eagles continued their undefeated start with a 46-8 victory over the Broncos.

Brady’s offense has been impressive through the first three games, scoring at least 38 points in each contest and totaling 165 points. The defense has been just as strong, allowing only eight points through three games, including back-to-back shutouts to open the season.

The 3-0 start has made for an exciting beginning to the year, and the Eagles will look to keep the momentum going as they move into the next stretch of the season.
