The Brady Eagles continued their undefeated football season in September, earning road wins over Dundy County-Stratton and Mullen to improve to 5-0.

A two-hour lightning delay in Benkelman on Sept. 18 did little to slow the Eagles down. Once play began, Brady earned a 62-14 victory over Dundy County-Stratton, finishing with 378 yards of total offense. Payton Miller led the rushing attack with 134 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Cinch Sanger completed both of his pass attempts for 68 yards and a touchdown.

The Eagles opened district play Sept. 24 at Mullen, bringing home a 54-30 win. Miller finished with 240 combined rushing and receiving yards and four touchdowns. Sanger added 58 rushing yards and a touchdown while throwing for 63 yards and another score. Brady’s defense also recorded three sacks against the Broncos.

Through five games, the Eagles have scored at least 46 points in every contest and outscored their opponents 281-52. With five victories already, Brady has reached its highest win total since 2019.

The Eagles return home Oct. 2 to face Maxwell at 7 p.m. Come out and cheer on Brady as the team looks to keep its momentum going!
