The Brady cross country team had a successful September, earning individual medals and a runner-up team trophy. At the Arapahoe Invite Sept. 17, Zoe Johnson placed third in the high school girls race. In junior high competition, Paisley Connelly took first and Gus Barnes finished third.

Despite windy conditions at Maywood-Hayes Center Sept. 23, Brady’s high school girls earned the runner-up team title. Johnson placed second, Violet Gentry finished fifth, and Brooke Lydic helped secure the team honor. At the UNK Invitational Sept. 28, Johnson medaled in 13th place, Gentry finished 42nd, and Lydic placed 199th among 233 Class D girls runners. Congratulations, Eagles, and good luck heading into October!
