Brady FFA members took their learning beyond the classroom in September by attending FFA Day at Husker Harvest Days and the District 9 Livestock Judging Clinic. These events provided opportunities to explore the agricultural industry and develop skills related to their classroom learning.

Husker Harvest Days brings together agricultural businesses, industry professionals, and students. The event offers FFA members opportunities to explore equipment and technology, learn about modern farming practices, and discover agricultural career pathways. It also provides a chance to connect with members from other chapters and see the variety of opportunities available in agriculture.

On Sept. 28, Brady members traveled to North Platte for the District 9 Livestock Judging Clinic. Students practiced evaluating livestock and sharpened their judging skills. Livestock judging encourages students to observe carefully, compare animals, and use their knowledge to make informed decisions.

Both events offered valuable opportunities for Brady FFA members to expand their agricultural knowledge as they begin another year of chapter activities.
