Yesterday’s Winter Pep Rally was packed with energy and school pride! We were excited to welcome the Mid-Plains Boys Basketball team, who spent time talking with our students and put on an awesome show with a 3-point contest and dunk demonstrations. We also took time to recognize our winter activities — girls and boys basketball, girls and boys wrestling, and speech — and announced our Sweetheart Royalty. Congratulations to Queen candidates Kennedi Cook, Ella Lydic, and Lydia McGown, and King candidate Gatlyn Carr. What a great way to celebrate our Eagles! 🦅

Students are creating custom plaques for the Learning Center, putting their craftsmanship to work on a real project that will be used in our school. From measuring and planning to using tools safely and finishing their work with care, this project builds valuable skills like attention to detail, responsibility, and problem-solving.
Projects like this show what CTE is all about — learning by doing, creating something meaningful, and developing skills that transfer to careers and everyday life.

Students investigated mystery containers using their senses—smelling, touching, listening, and observing. By taking sight out of the equation, they sharpened their other senses and practiced real scientific thinking. So much curiosity, laughter, and learning!
