Career & Technical Education Month is here, and we’re kicking it off by highlighting the hands-on learning happening in Woods class.
Students are creating custom plaques for the Learning Center, putting their craftsmanship to work on a real project that will be used in our school. From measuring and planning to using tools safely and finishing their work with care, this project builds valuable skills like attention to detail, responsibility, and problem-solving.
Projects like this show what CTE is all about — learning by doing, creating something meaningful, and developing skills that transfer to careers and everyday life.
Follow along as we highlight CTE learning in action throughout the month!

Science was hands-on (and blindfolded!) in 4th grade 🧪👀
Students investigated mystery containers using their senses—smelling, touching, listening, and observing. By taking sight out of the equation, they sharpened their other senses and practiced real scientific thinking. So much curiosity, laughter, and learning!
