Learning came to life for our 5th & 6th graders on their field trip! They spent the day exploring Pioneer Village, where they experienced history in a hands-on way and discovered what life looked like in the past. From asking great questions to making real connections, it was exciting to see their curiosity in action.
They also visited the Nebraska Firefighters Museum and Education Center, where students connected their learning to fire safety, firefighting, and history through an engaging presentation and exhibits.
We are so proud of how our students represented Brady—curious, respectful, and fully engaged throughout the entire day. Experiences like this are a great reminder that some of the best learning happens beyond the classroom walls!

Our enrichment students recently wrapped up a hands-on food truck project that brought real-world learning into the classroom. Each group created a menu and prepared one item, including macaroni and cheese, cheeseburgers, breakfast burritos, and loaded fries.
Over two days, students worked together to plan, prep, and cook their dishes before sitting down to enjoy a meal and sample each group’s work. Along the way, they practiced teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and important kitchen skills like following recipes and maintaining a clean workspace.
It was a great example of meaningful, hands-on learning—and a fun way to see their hard work come together!

Congratulations to our Science Olympiad students for representing Brady so well at the State Competition in Lincoln this weekend!
MaKenna & Nona – 3rd place (Helicopter)
Remington & Hunter – 4th place (Scrambler)
Brooke & Nattellia – 6th place (Anatomy & Physiology)
Beyond competition, students had the opportunity to explore, learn, and have fun—visiting the zoo, feeding giraffes, and even taking a train ride!
They also toured a biochemistry lab, where PhD student Oseeyi Daudu introduced them to real-world science through hands-on experiments with sucrose mixtures.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication. Way to represent Brady!
